Carbomer, cetrimide, sorbitol.
Description
Each 1 g of gel contains carbomer 2 mg, cetrimide 0.1 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, water for injections.
Indications/Uses
Substitute for lacrimal fluid in deficiency of tear production or dry eye.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Unless otherwise prescribed, and according to severity and manifestation of complaints, instill 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times or more frequently during the day and before retiring for night.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to cetrimide.
Special Precautions
Do not use Vidisic while wearing contact lenses. Long-term safety has not been established.
Side Effects
Caution: Even when administered as indicated, this product may cause a transient blurring in vision and patients should exercise caution when driving vehicles or operating machines.
Caution For Usage
As with all ophthalmic preparations, discard 1 month after opening.
Storage
Do not store at temperatures above 25°C.
